Acceptance of Terms:
By engaging with Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm, whether through our website, services, or any other means, you agree to abide by and be bound by these terms and conditions.

Scope of Work:
Brittney LaShe’ Publish Firm, will perform the work listed on this invoice. The company may decline or charge additionally for work deemed beyond this scope.
​
Services:
a. Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm offers a range of publishing services, including but not limited to manuscript editing, book design, printing, and distribution.
b. The specific services provided will be outlined in a separate agreement or contract between Brittney LaShe Publishing Firm and the client.

Ownership of the Work:
Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm and Lavish Looks Graphics will retain all rights to native files, including copyrights. Lavish Looks Graphics and Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm retains the right to use the work for self-promotion. Exclusive copyrights can be purchased at an additional cost.

Payment:
The client will pay Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm a 50% deposit for orders over $250. This includes up to 3 rounds of revisions; a 25% fee applies to each additional revision. Final payments are due 90 days after the full invoice is sent and any delay in invoice will be charged an additional $250 per additional 90 days.
No final files will be released before final payment. Failure to make timely payments may result in the suspension or termination of services.

Confidential Information:
Information marked as "Confidential" must be used only for this agreement and not disclosed without written consent. Confidentiality obligations survive termination.

Independent Contractor Relationship:
Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm is an independent contractor, not an employee or partner.

Copyright and Ownership:
a. The author retains the copyright to their work.
b.Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm may be granted the right to distribute, print, and market the work, as outlined in the publishing agreement.
Publication Timeline:
a. Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm will make reasonable efforts to adhere to the agreed-upon publication timeline. However, external factors such as printing delays or unforeseen circumstances may affect the timeline.
Author Responsibilities:
a. The author is responsible for providing accurate and complete information, materials, and approvals within agreed-upon timelines.
b. The author is responsible for ensuring that their work does not infringe on the copyrights or intellectual property rights of others.

LIMITED WARRANTY:
Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm warrants that entering this agreement is not prohibited and work produced will not violate third-party intellectual property rights.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Liability for damages is limited to the amount of Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm total fees under this agreement, unless due to gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Termination:
Either party may terminate for material breach. Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm is entitled to unpaid fees, liquidated damages, and retains payment obligations pending termination. Client's license in the work is revoked upon termination.
Miscellaneous:
The agreement can't be delegated without written consent. It's the entire agreement, superseding previous negotiations. It can only be changed by mutual written consent.
Governing Law:
The laws of South Carolina govern this agreement. Disputes must be handled in South Carolina courts. The prevailing party is entitled to recover reasonable costs and attorneys' fees.
By agreeing and paying this invoice, it has the same effect as signing. Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm is not responsible for errors after project completion; proofing is the client's responsibility.
Turnaround Times:
roject turnaround times are 5-7 days (excluding weekends/holidays), up to 2 weeks for media kits and book cover design. Branding projects may have a separate turnaround time. Payments are only accepted via this invoice.
Amendments:
a. Brittney LaShe’ Publishing Firm, reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
