My Story

Brittney LaShe' Holman is a versatile individual, renowned for her roles as an author, entrepreneur, influencer, and mentor. Raised in Neeses, South Carolina, by her mother and stepfather, Lisa and Stacy Brooks, alongside her siblings Rhamique Frederick, Shakare Brooks, and Samara Brooks, she began her educational journey at Hunter-Kinard-Tyler High School.

Holman's unwavering commitment to being a resource and making a positive impact stems from her experiences growing up in a modest-income household, particularly in Orangeburg County. In 2018, fueled by her desire to support those facing socio-economic challenges, she founded the I Am Lavish Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving low-income communities across South Carolina.

The foundation's mission is to provide empowerment, support, mentorship, and a diverse range of services to the citizens of South Carolina. Programs include community and homeless outreach, beauty and barber services for the homeless, financial literacy counseling, tutoring, mentoring, and summer camps. Holman's approach emphasizes practical, solution-oriented initiatives, actively engaging local communities in volunteerism, fundraising, and outreach.

Beyond her philanthropy, Holman manages Lavish Looks, graphics, and publishing under the newly named Brittney LaShe' Publishing Firm, LLC. She serves as the President of the I Am Lavish Foundation Inc. and spearheads the Brittney LaShe Youth Mentorship program, mentoring individuals aged 8-17. As an accomplished author, her works include “Daughters of the King, Don’t Play with Me,” "The No Touch Zone," "Learning Who Father Is," and "The Blueprint to Starting A Business As A Young CEO."

Holman also holds roles as the Youth Pastor at “Wind of Change & IUWW” under Chief Apostle Dr. Sylvia D. Marrow and the Ross Coordinator at the South Carolina Regional Housing Authority #3. An active member of the Orangeburg Morning Club Rotary Club, her commitment to community and service continues to shine.
